If you are looking for a revenge anime of a main character, The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 1 is a good pick.

Season 1: An absolute blast and has very good character development for MC. Season 2: Felt like the writer trying to write while he was in alcohol or something. (It Felt like a big filler season of Naruto but still tells key things). Season 3: Just OK but miles better than season 2.
