Returning asset to base location

My base location is bangalore. I traveled to my hometown in new delhi due to some emergency. For some reasons I have to stay now in my hometown. I choose to change my location from BLR to gurgaon GGV. The travel request is raised approved by everyone except the IS team. They want my TCS laptop back and telling me to come BLR first and return the asset laptop. Get the new asset from gurgaon. This is pure nonsense as I am in the same project same account and only my location is changing. I can use the same laptop.

Is there any way to do something about it. I dont want to spend 10K on flights just to return the TCS laptop. They already deducted 10K from me due to rto non compliance.
