Return to India from onsite
Hello everyone, I wanted to seek some guidance regarding my situation. I was deputed onsite for long term but unfortunately Due to my mother's health condition, I need to return to India after a week on-site. I would like to continue my work from India to manage both my work responsibilities and taking care of my mother. I'm wondering what the potential consequences would be, and if it's possible to end the deputation early in this situation. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Please talk to HR and your supervisor/ delivery partner to seek guidance on this. Explain your situation to them openly and ask them the way forward. Every problem has a solution.
I returned back to India. My supervisor taking some time to figure out the solution. I am not sure will he force me to comeback to onsite or it will affect on my job security or project. :(
