Retention query
My manager has told me that he will try to retain me but only 23 days remaining in my last working day if they genuinely tries to retain till when can I expect call from HR for discussion?
They will ping you at last, till then they want you to work as much as you can.
If you have a offer more than 50% of your current ctc, then move on and reallocate. Cause tcs will never give you more than 15-20% rest depends on your position in the project.
Honestly it aint worth it. Same boat as you. They retained me twice both the times the HR and Manager was good.
But this time had a shitty HR and Manager. Project is super dependent on me as sole lead developer, however, they tried low balling by matching the offer but putting everything in VP and into Retention bonus. Which was absolutely BS. Their match was 2 Lakhs short of what I got as the 2 lakhs was put into Retention Bonus and rest all into VP.
It aint worth it. If the hike is good leave the org cause it is a fkd up place fk em.
