Hello All, Im on notice period and management is trying to retain me. There retention plan is to match my offer with Project allowance which will not be reflected in my CTC (confirmed by HR ) & I suspect will be neither be recorded in salary slips. Can anybody assist if someone has accepted this proposal & has it benefitted you or not.

Never ever get retained if HCL is saying they will match so don't believe.trap is they will give that much only as project allowance every month .next year appraisal cycle they will that amount in ctc and no.extra hike for that year so it's pure loss and apart from that variable will also get included and later they will deduct it.MY SUGGESTIONS NEVER EVER GET RETAINED IN HCL UNTIL UNLESS THEY GIVE YOU 30% HIKE ON THE OFFER YOU GOT FROM NEW COMPANY

Just leave with your offer I got it twice they will hold you for 1 year after PA. You can't leave for 1 year.
I was promised by vice president of HCl for onsite travel I had my PM commitment email also but they keep fooling me from last 18 months.
So no benefits if you go with PA.

No point to accept the PA as it is just a trap, once project gone your PA gone

Ask them to match the offer, if they really want to retain you they will agree on your terms

It's a TRAP. Speaking with experience.
