Retention policy

I got retained by TCS by matching Accenture offer. My joining date in Accenture was 15th Oct.

TCS released revised compensation letter 2 days ago which will get effective from December month payroll.

I'm confused now, Whether they will actually make it effective from December payroll or not sure if they will extend further ?

Also manager promised about promotion and onsite in my resignation mail but no timeline confirmation.

Should I really wait till December to see revised payroll or shall I move on with Accenture ?

Move out of tcs if you have offer, these promises don't hold true given the uncertainty in tcs right now. You will have better growth in accenture

No need to worry. You will get the salary as defined in the Compensation letter from the effective date if you are employed in the firm.

Promotion and onsite is not solely on your manager's control even though he has a major stake. So, keep your hopes slightly low in this

There would be a variable in 8 lpa of TCS.They will give lower bands next year to reduce salary. Also, accenture has wfh and does not track office hrs. You can also keep searching for more offers as your salary is low. Do not get retained in TCS, they will be first to fire you once you gain some experience.

Accenture can also fire same situation like in tcs

Move out from TCS. Please do not believe on verbal communication. Ask them to release the compensation letter before 15th oct. so that if they won’t provide you the letter then you have enough time to go with Accenture.

Forget onsite after trump H1B Visa rule. Neither TCS nor the client will pay 100K$ for you.

You will get the salary but again don't forget TCS tagline "Experience Uncertainty" so can't guarantee that either.
