Retention Incentive Query
I am in talks with a company which is ready to release an offer for me. In October month salary I will get my retention incentive of 70K. But what if the offer gets rolled out before that and I have to resign... Will I get retention incentive for 11 months or will it go totally 0 nothing.
Please share experience and answers.
Even if you joined on 1st oct you will get that in oct salary. And even if you resign before getting the salary of oct they will hold that amount for sure. Also, if you are on notice period in oct then also you won't get jt

I lied to them that it's 60 days. So will figure that out once offer rolls out
I resigned the next day after I got my retention bonus. Check the policies if there is any mention of retention incentive is only applicable if the employee is not in notice period or something. They will do anything.
In case you need early exit, you should stop working in notice period. Then they might release you, then you will be fired or asked to resign with 3 months pay.
Retention Incentive they are not give at a time amount. I got mail already they have included divided in your monthly pay. May be this might the reason employee will leave once they receive.
