Retention incentive

I am lateral to TCS joined in 2021. I have a retention incentive component(80k) in my pay structure and get this amount after completion of every year. I could see this component is not there for a few of my friends. Is there a way to remove this component and add it to fixed pay? Please suggest.

Retention incentive is a one time component added to your compensation. It will be only at the end of the first year and not every year. Your CTC is exclusive of your retention bonus.
