Retention in TCS post Resignation

Hi All,

I resigned in mid of March and HR asked me if I am ready for retention. I said yes and shared my offer letter with HR. Is there any chance to match my current offer. Total experience is 10 years and I joined TCS 1.5 years ago. FYI.. The project initiated the last day of the project by the first week of April. LWD: May last week. Please suggest

Tcs will match the package if they have enough budget

First tcs will not match the offer they will always offer a lesser amount than the new organization. I would personally not stay back but you assess what's better stay back for a lesser amount and getting fired at a later stage or go to a new organization...
