
Retention in TCS
Hello Everyone
I am currently working at TCS with 2 years of experience and my CTC is 7.9 LPA. I have got an offer of 12. LPA fixed + variables
Now the DP of my project wants to retain me. He is ready to give 15 LPA and on-site opportunity in UK. My LWD is 27th January
If he gives me confirmation on email, is it wise diseason to stay back?

Aise aur mauke milenge.. Chodo iss comfort zone ko.. keep switching and get growth . Zyada gyan mat lo logo se.. warna TCS ke bharose reh jaayega..aur kisi din TCS ne laat maar ke nikal diya toh na ghar ke na ghaat ke.. so better switch and take new opportunities

In my case as well, client mail, and all the drama happened alas nothing happened. So dont stay once you have made up the decision stick to it.

Consider email from HR only, manager commitments would be fake.

Comfort kills progress.... Even I got same retention offer , i politely rejected

What is your priority- mental peace or finance? Depending on what you need you decide. Think about the work environment, culture and career growth too. Incase you stay in TCS and take the package you can switch from that pay package to a higher one outside. Maybe in UK😃. All the best!
