Retention in current company

Hi guys,

I recently got an offer from a MNC and I let my manger knew about it. Now he is saying he will try to match the offer.

I am severely underpaid and the offer is 100 percent hike.

What should I do?? Shall I resign ???

Ask your manager for 20% hike over the current offer you are holding. That should be about 140% hike on your current ctc. Anything less, get moving

or may be ask for 30% hike. I am saying this because you should consider what other offer you can grab in your 2-3 months notice period, you need to take that in account. You need to also take in account that after you revoke your resignation with a hike, you will get extra work and will have more expectations. So take all that in account and ask accordingly. If you are really critical, they should give you whatever you ask, if you are not critical and they are doing it just to keep their attrition stats in control, then they will not give and you should just keep moving.

I am also sure that I will get a much better offer if I serves the notice period.
CCTC IS 6 LPA OFFERED 11 LPA

WHat should I do??

I can easily get 15 lpa. I am a java developer having four years of experience, just for the contect

Having a well known MNC on resume is always a plus, unless current company is offering above the current offer, you should definitely consider switching.
