
Retention from TCS
Hi Team,
I am about to leave in 10 days from TCS.After I resign , My Manager told me retention discussion was going so wait will update you days passed he gave the same update.At last , He stated retention was not progressed due to hours maintained at office below 3 hrs.My question is do you think will they count hrs also for retention , If they see RTO means some logic.Kindly , please tell your known true information.
Note: In my project only 10 days enough for RTO.

TCS stopped retaining employees, my LWD is 4 days away. I was working 5 days 9 hours from office , still I didn't got call from HR regarding retention discussion

I am damn sure discussion happened for my retention between manager , supervisor.But due to above reason they stopped.But I can’t believe they considering hrs for retention.

As far as I understand, Project dependency and depth/ niche of skill matters the most. Better the chance to find replacement, lesser the retention odds

It is hard to leave TCS and my Project team - Because Better work life balance , no micro management , no stress , easy to spend time with family , easy leave approval , pay also decent monthly getting 65K for 6 YOE now at TCS.I am a Bachelor at the age 28.
All these points running on mind again and again , making me anxiety! Even my last working days ends this month.My mind pushing me to revoke , revoke.
New company providing me 50% hike , I assume ll get 25K extra.
Kindly , please advice on my situation.

I'm 33. Just getting 13.5 lpa. I'm in same comfort zone. So I decided that I should take risk now and move out. I know I'm very late. I'm not prepared well for the next job. But still I want to stop this cycle. Save my soul from boredom and stagnation

Bro just leave and look for new company things. Don’t believe everything people say

Retention is subjective to your criticality to the project. And it seems your management do not want to retain you. Simply- Bhag Yahan Se.
