Retention Discussion

Im going to have a discussion with my management regarding my retention. I have an offer which is 85% more then my current CTC. Also the inhand is greater compared to tcs salary structure. Anyone have any idea or inputs that can help me with the discussion.

Better switch if u feel the offer is good enough for ur growth ( learning wise and also financial)

Catch the opportunity, people now a days don't even get calls for interviews.. so just take the opportunity and go ahead

Depends on the company you are switching too... Since the times are bad, usually people end up joining the company and then sit for 2 months with projects and ultimately HR calls you to resign....a case happened with TG analytics comp... You cant really plan your switch frankly...for some it works out for some it dont.... Just be prepared for worst case scenario if it does not work out for you..... And frankly when people talk about switch to learn, i laugh very hard..even if you get into a very good company, learning never stops.... Switching is all about money, CTC at the end...period... Nothing wrong in that by the way... But it comes with consequences....so just have a back up plan ready!!
