Retention

Hello Everyone,

I joined last year in TCS and was not given appraisal this year despite having rating as 5. After discussing with multiple managers, they said as per policy you will get hike in 2025.

A few of my team mates put their papers and today i got a call from my Delivery director from my project. He said, we are trying to provide you hike but please don’t think to leave us now. We can provide you work from home for 3 months because of seat issue which will save your travel expenses and next year we will give you maximum hike we promise that. Along with that, your promotion will also happen which will also increase salary.

Please guide, are these managers trustworthy? I mean my mind is not relying on these words but trust, promise was being used multiple times in the whole communication.
