Retention Chances On client project

What happened when you are in client project and billable for Tcs and you resign without informing. How tcs deals with Client if client want the same person to handle deliveries. Are there any chances of retention or salary hike .

Depends on the client and how rare your skillset is. I know for a fact that TCS once offered 36lpa to an 8yoe person with a skillset that only 29 people in India possess. But the HR was hesitant on early onboarding, in other words reluctant to pay his buyout. He used that offer to join another company at 42lpa. If you're proficient in your work, they can retain you. Money is never a concern for them.

They will ask you to give KT to fresher and will ask you to move on

Depends on your connection with your manager.

There will be a chance that client will ask you to join them, in their organisation if you have a good connection and so that much of skills and experience.

If you want to retain in TCS only, make a good connection and bonding while going through the process. Your dependency will come and go.

I have been that person. It depends on how much you are and going to contribute to the organization and ofcourse customer feedback is prominent.
