Retention bonus or not?

Today I received revised compensation letter saying effective from Oct 1 1025, the retention bonus will be discontinued and merged with PA for FY 2025 - 26. What does that mean? Will I receive the RI in this month’s salary or not, can anyone please guide?

Joining date: 19/10/2022.

You’ll be paid RI for the duration 19/10/2024 till 01/10/2025 and not till 19/10/2025 in 31st Oct 2025 month salary. 19 days amount will be deducted. Now suppose your RI was 60k annually it will be given on monthly basis that is 5k will be added to your BOB and every months salary. Hope that clarifies, I’m saying so because I myself joined in Aug 2022 and have seen this

So, you won't get the annual retation bonus, but it'll be added to your personal allowance, and then that extra amount will be spread out in your monthly salary as part of your PA?
