Retention bonus

Hello fellow tcsers,

I am a tcs digital candidate with 3 years of experience and am eligible to get the retention bonus for my 3rd year. But one week ago, i got an email saying the retention bonus is discontinued and will be paid out on a monthly basis for 2025-26 effective from June 1 2025. But after completing 3 years they have to pay out the entire amount at a time right ? What's happening !!!?
