Retention bonus

I received an email that my retention bonus effective Dec1st is stopped and converted to monthly payment under personal allowance. Which means that I will not be getting the retention bonus that I use to get in Dec month salary? Someone please help. Also, monthly personal allowance will there be any additional amount?

You will get that retention in dec month salary along with extra merged amount which is retention money / 12 .

No, the letter says from dec onwards that means we won't get it in dec month salary as per my guess but I really hope I am wrong 😶

You must have completed 3 years in TCS then. Congratulations. Yes it's the new policy it seems, you'll get the retention in Dec salary and prorated increase of personal allowance from exact anniversary date to 31st Dec as well. Hope it's clear now.
