Stopped consuming national media when the pandemic began and never really missed them.
Tuned in again a couple of nights ago… and it felt like a performance, not reporting. The news merely looked like taken from Twitter bots and WhatsApp forwards as sources. The noise, the drama, the endless yelling (by you know who!) hard to take any of it seriously. But during this grim situation I don't think anything else can offer this much comic relief. When the news about war is actually less serious than the war itself!
Makes you wonder how we even consumed this shit daily for years and years. Mediocrity (can't even call this mediocre at best) seems to sell like nothing else.
Hope the war ends soon, and I'm out of this temporary brainrot. It's like watching the pathetic collective cognitive ability of our society unfold on national television. It's like taking our stupidity for granted.

Dont share anti indian post like this. There may be few news channels creating drama but most of the Indian news channels are sharing authentic and credible news. Bharat mata ki jai !!!
Its a reflection of the society that we live in. Dumb, semi illiterate idiots who want the same saas bahu drama on tv news also. Quality of tv shows is crap, movies are absolutely crap, and the good ones will not get any credit. Its a death spiral. We live in a dumb country.
This is the exact purpose of this post! We're no less than zombies who consume way too much subpar information and behave like henchmen. Cheap internet is making the masses only dumber and dumber (and thankfully it also helps us identify who's dumb because the masks are falling off)!

Some well known channels, I Agree. "Not all though". Mediocre to say the least. No proper ground work from these commercial channels like times now or like. Let's not even talk about Republic nonsense, I never started to watch or take them seriously.

Why is Indian media so dumb? Making a fool out of themselves is something in which Indian media excels. They seem to be more excited about the Israel-Palestine conflict than even Israeli media.
These journalists are not even cross checking any news.
