Resigning without offer

Hi Folks, I had one offer from one of the companies, but due to early joining and my long notice period i couldnt able to join that company, and as of now I have got the confidence that I can crack the next interview whichever is scheduled, and also in TCS i have asked release from my manager but he is playing with me and not giving the release date, so i am thinking of resigning so in that case will the manager keep me for 90 days or release me to bench since I have resigned?

This is the problem if after resigning manager releases you then within a week they will release you and till that time you might not be having a offer letter.

I dont think so he will release me he will keep me for 90 days

No issues in that case I can talk to new company to release the offer, the HR told they have 1 position vacant so she told she will contact with the hiring manager
