Trending @Capgemini; Resigning without any offer in hand
I am currently in a project, what if i resign from the company without any offer in my hand will CG retain me ?

I worked hard and late for project deliverables till now my scrum manager did not ask me to stay back. anyway he is the reason for my decision lol

If you do not have any offer then they will not retain you. You are replaceable. If they are dependent on you then for them to match your offer, you would need an offer in the first place.
The market is brutal so you may not get another job with higher salary so think wisely before taking that decision. If your role is in the development space and you see a lot of openings / get lot of calls then it may make sense to resign. Also in this job market you may have to be over confident enough to resign and then find a job. If there is no financial dependency on you, then by all means you can resign. Else I would recommend against of it.

CG will not retain you in 99.99% chance that I know.

I heard from long term peers here that CG from past few years has very least retention policy. Even if CEO resigns they will let him/her go.

No CG will not retain you
In my case
I resigned and from the client side they put maximum effort to retain me but from.cg side they never bothered so resigning without offer may be risky but if you want to take a chance you can go ahed
All the best

If you resign without any offer, the company will have the upper hand in negotiations. You have to have a few cards in your hand before making such a decision. Strong dependency in the project, offer from other company even if it's less than your expectations, etc will help you grab the best deal.

Chances are less that you'll get retained as already companies like CG have lot of bench employees. So they'll get more cheaper resource than you. Take decision wisely.
