Resigning From TCS because of not recognising my skills.
I joined TCS as a fresher three months ago even though I am from computing branch they put me in ITIS branch. Actually I solved 2 problems in NQT and got shortlisted for prime interview but for the interview they sent me to a ninja panel and offered me ninja role. In that time I didn't have any offer so I joined in tcs with a little hope of getting atleast software testing role. But the things here are very worse they allocated me into a support project without my consent and asked me to go to the ODC and they threatened me that they will stop my salary. I took a brave decision to resign because I know my skillsets and abilities so now resigning from tcs without any offers now. I believe that I can crack any offer in the following days.
Don't join TCS ninja if you are passionate about programming. They will map you into a random project.
One interview, 1000+ job opportunities
Take a 10-min AI interview to qualify for numerous real jobs auto-matched to your profile 🔑Not only ninja,i got prime role and till now I don't have any work . I feel tcs is not at all good for freshers.
You are wrong .. not only ninja roles , direct recruitment also they will tag all freshers as per their project needs not as per associate preferences
Which location did u join?
TCS Ninja is fine.. There are 2 BUs IT & ITIS. IT has software development roles not ITIS
@OrderlyRainbow - Being a panelist, let me tell you how this works. If you were selected for prime then why didnt you called out recruiter when he was sending you to ninja panel. Either they sent you to wrong panel by mistake or your results matched better with ninja role. If they decided to let you into ITIS BU then i think this was mainly because of your performance in interview that day. It was probably ITIS or no selection. This has nothing to do with your potential. Dont take it personally.
I agree with your reply but we did not know that was ninja panel at that time of interview. because all the candidates who gave interview in that panel was prime candidates but all of them got only ninja. And they asked only basic questions because that panel only came to hire ninja candidates and maybe the person who sent us to that panel might be made a mistake.
And that ITIS domain mapping is very unacceptable because only IT and CSE ninja students got IT training in ILP but the AI & DS students were put with non computing branches like ECE, EEE to ITIS training.
I can't blame anyone. So I am resigning. I trust my skills. Solving tickets and client queries is not the worklife that I dreamt of. So I have decided to move on different path.
Well decesion!!
Good decision
