Resigned without an offer. Have multiple offers now with 45 days NP pending

I have resigned without any offer in hand as my manager gave promotion to a girl and sponsored finance from TCS for certification. When I reached out for certification sponsorship, I was rejected and promotion was also denied stating next year can be initiated. Managers and gender based support never ending story. Happy that I realised and leaving this organization. Placed in Product based with 55% hike. Good for me.

For initial two weeks I have not received any call. Later, I worked on resume and interview related topics. Also, I had to take linkedin and naukri premium. Worked like a charm, multiple calls atleast 2-3 interviews a week. Gave it my everything put all my efforts into it. Made sure interviewer knows what I have been working on how hard I work and how can I contribute and my learning abilities.

Always received a positive feedback from almost everyone in the interview itself. Never got praised in TCS for over working and giving my 200%.

Always worked late nights and supported in weekends. Even in NP they are reaching for this week support. Lol!! Looks like they dont have anyone who can work or what? Denied it now, should have done in the begining itself.

I suggest everyone to be confident and there is always someone out there looking for a candidate if you have skills.

Inspiring. Monthly EMIs and commitments along with near zero bank balance preventing me to take these types of brave decisions bro

Always start saving 10% of salary, ditch your credit cards, postpone all your spends. Remember you were able to live with 100rs pocket money in the past. All things will start to realise. On e you have 3 months surplus wait for 3 more months take a term insurance and then resign 2-3 months before December or March. You will rock and all the best.

Same things are going on in my life but I am yet to resign, I hope someday I will make the same decision.

You can try out the jobs first. Many MNCs agree for 90 days NP. Once you are confident only put down the papers. Have no shame in reaching out to friends, linked members and sharing resume to mails(offical company mails of HR/recruiter)shared over linked in posts for referrals. You will definitely get the calls and offers.

Congratulations bro. Same situation for me. Can't beleive how selfish managers are no support from them to their hard working developers

Trust me, they are never going to support us. Moreover I felt there is no learning as well just doing repeated activities. Take the first step.. you will be motivated automatically once u receive calls and face interviews which is when u will get to know there is so much to learn

I fully Agree with You. You are absolutely right. I also got the Interview call after taking Naukri Premium and got the job. Currently I am also facing stuck in TCS. A lot of Work Pressure and late night work till 11 PM or 12 AM. After that also No job appreciation and only mental harassment. I need to find out the way to get rid of this toxic job environment.

True. They dont value our time. They only get the work done and never look back at us only if they have work to be progressed again.

Congrats! How did linkedin premium help exactly?

I reached out to many recruiters directly. I landed in a job where there is no opening posted for my position at their company. Also, I have seen recruiters reaching directly to me and asking for resume and details. Linked premium is also good. But naukri premium I received atleast 1-2 calls a day.
