Trending @Infosys; Resignation query

Currently I am a critical resource in my project. But even after repeated requested i haven't got promotion, and other company's HR run away from me after hearing my 90 days notice period.

Shall I resign and see whether the manager try to retain me with a salary hike. Or is this a very bad idea ?

No dude, I am still waiting for my retention hike even after 2 months of taking paper back and DM commitments. Put down papers in case you find another job otherwise really not worth it

If we take papers back after how many days we will be eligible to resign

Try to attend recruitment drives and test your skills. After that if you are confident, then go ahead and resign.

If your family depends on you financially then resigning without offer is a worst decision. Also infosys attrition rate is 13 % per annum which means in infosys roughly 10 K people leave infosys every 3 months. They also have 3 months notice period but they are switching companies. If they can why you can't.Think wisely.
