Resignation Process

Hi Everyone, I resigned on February 20, 2024 and since then I've been trying to connect with HRs for resignation acceptance email and a point of contact for further queries. I send emails to project HR and he keeps assigning things to his team members probably but I still am trying after more than a month to get a confirmation of my resignation.

I'm wondering how I can escalate this to get a prompt response?

Would appreciate any advice! Thanks for your time.

Reply to your resignation mail and include everyone in his vertical corporate structure, you can find them if you hover your mouse on his name, basically escalate to his boss, and let them know that you're resigning and that you haven't gotten the acceptance mail, worked for me.

Try to connect to the person who is your WON owner resign request goes to them as him what is the status of my request? Then escalate it to unit HR and then regional HR

Same situation for me as well... It's been more than 40 days since my resignation been initiated in the system but still my resignation is pending with WON owner post which it will go to HR. The WON owner is segment head... I have tried following up with him but he does not answer. Not sure what to do. Any suggestions please?

I emailed all the folks like my project HR and had to continuously email them twice per week, I did get the acceptance email based on the advice provided here. Maybe try some of them!

Also, Are you visiting the office now that you have resigned?

Yes I am visiting office all 5 days... I don't want to give any reason for extending my notice period.

If you are in project then project manager must have initiated your separation in system after that it goes to GL and then to HR. Check with your manager if he has initiated in system and where it is showing pending.. Go via manager to HR it will be faster for you.. Looping everyone in mail is Old tactic you can do it amicably via your manager

That's more than a month now, you should have escalated to senior level a lot earlier.

Keep taking updates on emails, don't hesitate to loop their seniors if you don't get a reply in 2-3 days.
