Trending @Accenture; Resignation issue

I have worked with Accenture for 3.2 years now and all of sudden they pushed me into a client project which I could not deny either if i resign will I be allowed to resign normally or will they say me you just got rolled into a client project for a year you can't ? I knw this sounds a funny question but want to know just for my brain 😣
