Resignation before band allocation

A brief history - I cleared wings 1 last cycle (ninja->digital). I am getting elevate incentives which will be discontinued if I get a C or D band. I fear that i might be given a C band by my current manager. So, what happens if I resign before band allocation (which mostly happens around April) and be on notice period. Do I keep my current elevated salary or they would release a new compensation letter with decreased salary?

It depends on how critical resource you are to the project—based on that, they may either try to retain you or proceed with accepting your resignation. However, it’s unlikely they will offer you a band change, as employees who have already resigned are generally not considered for one.
