If you resign in March and tcs tries to retain you by matching salary. Will you get an appraisal hike or not if you take back your promotion?

No promotion will happen after that, additionally you will be assigned with lower bands because they need to compensate your increased salary by not providing any promotions or hikes

Nope no promotion nor hike. Its there in the retention clause. Won't be considered for a year or 2.
