Resignation & Notice Period Clarification

Hi All, I’ve been with TCS for about 5 months now. My current project allocation is ending on the 23rd of this month. I recently received an offer from Accenture, and they’ve given me 3 months to join.

I want to understand a few things:

If I resign now, will TCS still make me serve the full 3-moce period?

Since my allocation is ending soon, is there a chance they might release me earlier or i should serve completely

Has anyone here gone through a similar situation, and what was your experience like?

Don't resign. Just get released from your current project asap on 23rd. Stay on Bench for 35 days- reject all project calls. They will ask you to come for a review meeting where you will be asked to resign and will be offered severance pay 3months minimum or even more. Get the money, resign and join accenture.

For freshers they ask to serve 90 days notice . irrespective of allocation. please put resignation and utilities 90days to upskill.

If not assigned to project, they are releasing immediately. One of my team mate got offer outside he resigned . They released him with in a week as Replacement was available in RMG with similar skillset

Yes please drop in papers fast. They will release you early. NP will also be cut short. Right now they want people to leave tbh.
