Resignation acknowledgement

Hi all,

I have resigned on 16th Jan today I have acknowledgment mail but in that it was mentioned that resignation date 21-jan I don't understand what does it mean?

Does the date they have taken my resignation as 21st jan or the start date was 16-jan

Can anyone please clarify.

Normally when you resign HR asks for resignation date along with reason. Did you received such mail and confirmed? If not connect with HR and ask to correct the date in system. As per this email 21st is your resignation date
