Trending @Infosys; Resign without offer ?
Joined Infosys as a fresher as a System Engineer Trainee, and now I’m a Technology Analyst with 5.5 years of experience and a CTC of 6.1 LPA. My skills include React.js and front-end web development.
I’ve stayed this long primarily because I’ve been able to save 95% of my salary while working from home. But with WFH ending, I feel the need to switch. Additionally, I’m facing rejections in the wedding market, and my salary isn’t enough to live comfortably in a metro city, especially if I plan to support a spouse who might not be working.
I’m also not getting any interview calls because of my notice period. However, I have enough savings and have just joined a project with a low workload, which gives me the flexibility to search for a job during my notice period.
My question is: Will I be able to find a job in 90 days, and what precautions should I take? Should I resign without an offer?
If anyone has gone through this or has some advice, please enlighten me with your experience.

Hey mate, dont resign without offer
There are companies who are accepting 90 days like tcs wipro infy acc capg etc 1st get an offer of 10-11 lpa and then try to get another offer. If not join the one u got
I know its a struggling phase as i also came through, all the best man

Thanks bro

Actually I have dropped the papers and searched for the new offers coz my project environment which changed was shit. They are dumping development requirements at last moments without even a team and asked me to lead the team. Then I have completed 4 yrs over here and I have nothing here hikes or anything..If u confident enough and in any compulsion to do so dare to try with it...(I m finally out of Infy now )
But as per ur case u have a good amount of exp and there is no bottlenecks for u over the current work as well..just update the job seeking sites regularly..u will be getting calls most of these MNCs accept 90 days NP...

if you have no responsibilities like taking care of family etc... try doing resign but only when you have enough money in hand or else you cant bear the tension and pressure.
Not sure about the current market and recession news. consider all the aspects and try,
All the very best!

Say your notice period is negotiable or say 2 month notice period once you have a offer letter you new company can wait or you can get another offer

I am a person who says "do not quit with no offer" as the market is quite difficult especially with 90 days NP. But depending on your age and savings, maybe you could take a risk and quit. Why I say is, when I did the same, closer to last 30 days of NP, I got a ton of calls. Many of which interview was done too. But there's always that uneasy feeling in ones gut when attempting to resign without an offer. I wish you the very best my friend.
I would say don't resign without offer Sometimes it takes 2-3 months just to get the interview schedule and all this process till joining is about 7-8 months so if you know you can go with the decision else pls don't.
And also WFH means ? Like we are going to the office 10 days a month does it change to the whole month this what you are referring to here ?

I had the same question but will the companies give the standard hike on such a low current package. Or they will consider the current package for the hike?

I’m on same boat
