Trending @Accenture; Resign without another job offer?
Was just wondering if it’s a good idea to leave organization without a job offer in hand?

I would not recommend it.. I did it and it was too much of a pressure to get an offer however in 45 days I got an offer with an exceptional hike. But I was too stressed all the time and didn't have any room to make a mistake interview.

But my current project is toxic cant handle much and they are not releasing from project

I understand I was in the same situation.. if you don't get an offer outside and if you decide to take back your resignation here is what will happen.. current manager will submit bad feedback in tool.. you will go in another project they will say you didn't deliver anything significant to your rating will down and less hike.. It was even ok for me to take a month or so break so I took this chance. If your financial conditions allow you then fine.

I will tell you one thing, assuming that you resign without an offer in hand, let's say you get another job, your salary will come down and you will have no chance to negotiate. They will assume that you are just in need of a job. Secondly if you are in a job and you are.looking for another job you have that scope of asking for a hike in salary. The new.ones will doubt you later even if you get placed.

Its a risk

If you have any business which is stable you can resign. I don't recommend you to quit without getting an offer letter

We should also consider the fact that our notice period is 90days and in current market no organisation is going to wait 90days for us.
I believe resigning and then looking for job sounds a good approach in current market. High risk but high reward

Bhai Project accha hai - or tumhari need hai to retain bhi kar sakte hain. Resign karke dhoondlo job mil jaaye to accha - or starting k 2 week me hi counter dedenge agar dena hoga.

I guess that’s not a good idea at all!

Not a problem at all, if you’ve confidence you can. I used to do this.
