Trending @Accenture; Resign during PIP

Can I resign on the pip, what will be the notice period, my PIP has started and the task they have given is very hard to clear within 4 weeks along with project work, they said you have to complete PIP task, should I wait or can give resignation will they allow me for notice period, because he can ask to leave company immediately after pip end. Please suggest, TIA
