Reservation in private sector soon

There is a reservation already in private sector in States like Haryana and Jharkhand for blue collar jobs but soon it might extend to every role.

I guess people in Witch will be the first one to be impacted.

Not gonna happen. Companies will run away. Happened in Gurgaon. Companies threatened to go away and thus they had to take away the order.

You are totally uninformed. They didn't take away anything. High court quashed the law by deeming it unconstitutional. But courts can't do shit if central govt wishes it. And you really think politicians care if companies stay or leave?

Imagine if it happens in Bangalore, companies will leave and the whole crowd of Bangalore will go away. Which will result in empty pubs and cafes which will eventually lead to the businessman who have direct connection with the party. So, will have to revert back. Selfish or non-selfish, this law will never sustain.

I fear this will likely be used to further underpay the employees, while generating "record profits"

How so?

Historically, this has always happened anytime a "marginalised" section enters the workforce. For example, women joining the workforce in the early-mid 1900s, the black rights movement in the US, inter country work policies of the EU, etc. Corporations, only caring about their bottom line, prefer cheaper labor, and this comes in the form of the marginalised groups. This is why we see gender pay disparity to this day. They also get away by under-paying, down-levelling, delayed promotions, etc. to such groups.
