I am planning to apply for further studies outside India so naturally will need LOR from manager.
I have joined the company 11 months ago as a fresher and have been working under my manager for 7 months now.
So will they agree on giving me the LOR or there is some other process?

Yes, just ask them politely they will give.

In TCS you won't get LOR but you would get a bonafide. Few years back I asked to my manager for LOR he gave his sign on my LOR but when I understood LOR must have stamp of the organisation too I asked for it but manager said its not in his hands, suggested to ask HR. When I asked HR, he mentioned from TCS they can only provide bonafide.
