I have recently moved to a new city and it's been very difficult for me and my family. I have only my mother at home town and my elder brother is in a different city. The project wants me to stay in Bangalore as it is one of the main locations. I have asked my manager earlier for relocation as well but he denied. It's not like my whole team is sitting here. There are only 4 people including me and as we are working in shifts we hardly see each other. My mom is not keeping well as she's alone and doesn't take care of herself properly.
I am planning to give a prescription with my mother's serious conditions as a way to get relocated. Will this jeopardize my career in any way? Kindly help
Ask them for an OIT, but to be honest it totally depends on manager if he agrees for transfer or not.

They get attendance mails along with the location I am going. He will make a fuss when he sees that.
