Trending @Accenture; Request for Guidance: Project Pressure Impacting Health
As I previously mentioned, I had posted about the difficulties I'm facing in my current project. To summarize, the continuous pressure, lack of guidance, and work overload have been affecting me mentally and emotionally.
I spoke to a manager I know, and he advised me to take sick leave and send a formal email to HR explaining that I’ve been under stress, and that my doctor has advised me to avoid high-pressure situations for the sake of my health. Since the current project continues to be stressful over a long period, he recommended requesting a roll-off on medical grounds.
To be honest, my mental health has been impacted. I often feel anxious and overwhelmed due to the nature of the work and the environment. I’ve tried to manage, but it’s affecting my well-being.
Is this the right way to proceed to take roll off? If not, could you kindly advise me on a better or more appropriate approach?

Yes take rolloff.. Your manager is also ready then why are you thinking?

No, he is my relative working in tcs. He is not my project manager
Actually my project manager won't agree so easily because in my team few seniors left the project and few left the company, so pressure is on us more.

HR will definitely help you out in this case
But there are other conditions to be applied firstly they ask to take medical leave or LOA for 1 Month once you recover by then you need to join back the same project!
But still if you have release from the project share your genuine medical reports explain HR current conditions and if you still stay in the project what’s going to happen

Will this workout? Will hr and manager approve for roll off

Live to fight another day. If you are not able to cope with pressure, better take leave/project release/career break. Nothing is more important than your health, you can focus on your career later also.
If I would have been in your place, I would have focused more on my survival instinct, and not on the career part.

Keep asking him for release every 15 days, mention work pressure, interest in other skill. Offcourse he won’t agree in the beginning it’s his job, your job is to keep asking him again and again. Be professional at your work so that it’s not escalated to HR, but don’t work too hard either. Drop him a formal email asking for release to begin with.

Don't think so much. Request for roll off and take some time-off. Then look for a project.

Email HR and keep du lead as well and explain everything and ask for roll off
There is no meaning working like this when it impacts your mental health
