Since the client is highly satisfied with my work and I have been independently handling all tasks, would it be appropriate for me to request the client to share positive feedback with my HCL manager?

Is it good idea? Or is there anyone who had any experience with this kind of situation?

You can always get the client feedback and share to your reviewer or appraiser but will they act as per that feedback is a separate thing

My client shares the feedback behind my back so no issues in asking the feedback if you are really doing good stuff..

your client might be sending the feedback to your manager...for me they send it every quarter and same is used for performance feedback by my manager
