Reporting to base loc tillwd

My Last working day is 15th sep and my project allocation end date is 30th Aug . I am currently not working from my base location. Would I require to report to base loc just for last 15 days. I live in maharastra and my loc is Kolkata so it's a huge distance . What should I do in this case.

Get a project which can allow you to work from your desired loc

On the last week of aug.. send out a mail requesting for early seperation
