Trending @Cognizant; Report to Office is mandatory when on Pool (PDP)?

I joined Cognizant recently and am on PDP (pool) waiting for a project deployment. I received instructions to report to office from 21st July(6-7 hours a day/ all 5 days) as my grace period of 7 days ends by then.

Please tell me is it MANDATORY to report immediately? HOW SERIOUSLY THEY TRACK ?

What would be the consequences if I choose not to report for 3 days?

I joined 2 weeks back, I only have 3 days in leave balance, using all 3 at once now wouldn't be a great thing. Anythig else that I can do? What will be the consequences?
