Rental Flat Search

How do I search for flats in Bengaluru? I will be shifting there for work in July. It's my first time leaving home and going to another city.

I am already stressed and when I see the price of basic looking flats on websites I get more depressed.

I want to live near my office which will be in Salarpuria Softzone and my budget is within 20 k. I am fine if it is non furnished. Already my salary is way less so I can't spend on transportation for 5 days a week 😭😭

Are housing.com or any website genuine? The deposits are also very high and the flats I see are not even spacious.. PG is my last choice as I want a space where I can at least accommodate my mom whenever she visits 😞😭

Please help.

I would recommend to first move into a pg for a temporary basis. Then go flat hunting. The online listings can be very very deceptive, too many scams going on.
