Rent or Pg?

Hello BLR folks, I currently stay with my cousin’s fam but want to move out. I have observed a lot of good pgs have high prices like 12k for double sharing and stuff like that. My main requirement is privacy and a personal space. I work remotely so flexible on locations too but i think i should go for a 1bhk or a 1rk.

What do you guys suggest? Also please share best ways to find a house here?
