95/100 remote companies that hire in India will use a location based compensation formula and it still beats best offers in country but this will most likely come at an expense for your sleep ergo off hours (peak collaboration hours)
In MNCs bell and whistles are there but with that comes a lot of politics and if you can keep your head down, its a good deal.
Indian startups are toxic but hide that under the facade that we’re ‘dynamic’. Pay is obviously good but will mentally drain you.
My take, early in career with no responsibilities-> you have the liberty to choose a remote startup and try to acquire a lot of capital.
As you take on more responsibilities like caring for parents, marriage, becoming a parent yourself, you can leverage your remote/startup experience you move to a Faang type mnc where its stable compared to prev stints
Thats my two cents, can and will most likely be not an ideal answer
