LinkedIn is not the same what it was an year ago, these days it's mostly filled with useless crap and so called influencers sharing their fake interview experiences just to sponsor someone who paid good amount of money

Most jobs posted have more than 200 applicants and not one will be reviewed by hr At the end of the day someone has to refer you inside the organisation only then you get a chance to interview.. soo many talented job seekers never get an opportunity to even interview unless you are referred by someone
Where do you source candidates for hiring? Last I checked LinkedIn is the best platform for it
The shots were not for sourcing channel - the shots were on the other gimmicky stuff they are doing. But regardless - there a dime a dozen closed groups which has refined audience for sourcing, truth be told some of my recent hires have come from grapevine :)

LinkedIn has become trash, just like every other social media platform, including Grapevine.
If an HR is ranting about Linkedin then definitely their fake post on linkedin didn't get enough traffic.
Jokes aside these are some really valid points. And as a GEM(General Engineering Middleclass Male). Linkedin is a place where I will be scammed with fake posts and addition of matchmaking has me cooked beyond repair.
I don’t need traffic to make a point - density / depth of points is what matters. That aside - I did the same take on LinkedIn on LinkedIn and was top ranked - but sure go ahead slobber me with comments - why take that effort when you can take shots freely 😝
