Trending @Cognizant; Relocation reimbursement issue

I joined the company last year with relocation benefits (flight, guest house, vehicle transport), claimable within 60 days of DOJ. Due to client site infra issues (WiFi not ready), I was asked to WFH and couldn’t relocate within the time frame. While my claim isn’t officially denied yet, I’ve heard others in similar situations are getting their requests rejected.

Can this be appealed or is there a way to request an exception? Please help me understand as now they've rolled out RTO slots 🫠
