Relocation possible?
My base branch is gurgaon. Is there any option to relocate temporary to any other location for time being?
Secondly is there any retention policy in tcs. I have seen few cases tcs retain employees. If yes how can i do that. I will be resigning soon.

Relocation depends on factors especially your serving period in current location, your RMG or HR..If you are looking for relocation for some genuine reason especially medical issues facing by you or parent or you planning to get married and get settled in that place..Your RMG and HR would surely agree else if you had served a min 2 yrs in the current location also can be made possible from their end...
I don't think so even if you have found a project in that location as they would ask you to serve a min of 2 years in that location making it bit different to be in that location till the time of your desire..And secondly though the retention policy in tcs is very strict but still I have seen some cases in this community where it totally depends on your dependency on last project that you worked before resigning from same and does their manager..If you had shown performance passing their expectations..I think they can..else just move on by beginning with new company...
No there is no office of TCS at chandigarh as of now.. Need to opt for the nearest ones which are in your neighbouring state I.e Gurgaon,Noida and Delhi
