Relocation for fresher.
I want to get relocated to Noida. I am currently in Kolkata. I joined in June 2024. RMG is not agreeing for relocation. What are other ways I can do.
What is your base location? If its kolkata then why the hell anyone would agree to transfer you to noida.. This should have been taken care before offer was released. Yehi khelte raho bas.. ab mujhe noida jana hai fir mumbai fir retirement goa mein le lena.
My preferred location was Noida, but I didn’t get it. I accepted the offer with the Kolkata location, of course, but if there’s any chance or way to transfer, I will definitely consider it. My family needs me.
I can’t be with them all the time, but I can try to stay as close to them as possible. From Kolkata, it takes 22 hours to reach my hometown, Kanpur, but from Delhi, it’s only 6 hours.
I am the only daughter of my parents, and they need me the most.
If there is no way to get a relocation before 2 years, I can wait. But if there’s any chance, of course, I will at least try.
All transfer requests will be rejected until 2 years of service in base branch. It is mentioned in the HR Policy in Ultimatix.
If there is medical reason before 2 years for self, not family, then investigation will be done by TCS medical team before transfer request can be approved.

I can totally understand but the thing is do not expect anything from TCS. They are worthless and most inconsiderate when it comes to showing empathy. One of my friends was able to get his base location changed from Bangalore to Delhi but the other one was denied straight away. He had a 6 month child and he wanted to spend some quality time with his child. So speak to your manager and try your luck.
