How does this work ? I am getting 2.5L as relocation bonus. Will it be directly credited into my account ? Or based on relocation cost I have to submit bills upto 2.5L ?

You will get complete amount tax free in your account, if any additional tax is calculated as per your salary and relocation bonus, that tax will be paid by company

In most cases, you need to submit Bills to get those money. And in some companies they scrutinise those bills too, so keep all that in mind.

Yes for relocation all together bills like travel,packers and movers, broker advance for house/flat you need to submit total bills of 2.5l to get 2.5l
