Trending @Accenture; Relocate to Bangalore

31F, CL9, Help me if it’s worth relocating to Bangalore from Delhi at a CTC of 18LPA. Where to live in Koramangla as its office location. How does Accenture helps in paying for relocation. Plz help.

Koramangala is one of the costliest (posh) areas in Bangalore. 18 LPA will give a miserable life in Bangalore. Rent itself will be 30-40k per month.

But if I check on housing or no broker it shows 25-30k for 1bhk in koramangala. Is that inaccurate?

18LPA might not be enough for Koramangala unless you plan to stay in a PG or shared flat. 20k minimum you must think of if living in Koramangala.
Koramangala is a costly place with no direct connectivity to metro. You can think of BTM or Ejipura side if you're okay to travel for 30 mins minimum from cab or taxi.. Ideally I would say ask for more since you're relocating or just ask to stay back in Delhi since Accenture has offices there. PS- they're paying you the bare minimum for a CL9, I would suggest negotiating for more

I’ve joined and they clearly told to take this or drop. Would accenture pay me anything if I relocate to BLR? Or is everything self paid?

Package is below market standard.

How much should it be then?

I will not suggest moving to Bangalore. But if you are planning to move 1 or 2 years if fine. But for a long time it's not good. Good things in Bangalore - Much Job opportunity and weather. Else nothing is good. Rent is so much, flat is not affordable, traffic is worst, auto driver is the owner of Bangalore, language barrier sometimes, everything is costly.

If you are planning anyway. You can stay in BTM 2nd stage it's cheap.
