Relevant course for transition to PM role

Hi all I hold 20 months if work ex (6 month in construction industy & 14 in political consulting).

I want to get into PM role . I want to start with courses with capstone projects like ISB PM (16 week ), product school. Could you share what would be most efficient go ahead. any advices? Background : B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering Currently pursuing two year MBA(2025-2027)

  1. Take ISB’s PM course (industry-recognized) or Google’s PM Certificate (Coursera) for fundamentals.
  2. Build 2-3 PM projects (e.g., mock PRD for an app solving construction industry pain points).
  3. Leverage your MBA network for PM internships during 2025-27.
